Michael Douglas' son Cameron Douglas was reportedly attacked at a federal prison in Loretto, Pennsylvania, where he is currently serving time.

Cameron Douglas was sentenced in 2010 to five years in federal prison for drug distribution and heroin possession. In December 2011 he was sentenced to an addition four and a half years after being caught in prison with heroin and a prescription medication, according to a May 2012 article in The New York Times.

Michael Douglas and his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones participated in the 11th Annual Michael Douglas & Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament in Atlantis, located on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, during the weekend of May 25-27, 2012.

Douglas co-hosted the event with Morgan Freeman, who played on behalf of the charity PLAN!T NOW, an international disaster preparedness non-profit organization that he had co-founded in 2004 after a hurricane devastated the island nation of Grenada.

Other stars who participated in the tournament included actors Mark Wahlberg, Kyle MacLachlan and Benjamin Bratt and rocker Alice Cooper. The event is set to be broadcast on the Golf Channel on July 7, 2012 at 4 p.m. ET. Check out photos of Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Michael Douglas' son, Cameron, has pleaded guilty to possessing drugs while serving time in prison.

New York federal prosecutors said cocaine and methadone, a prohibited controlled substance often used to prevent withdrawal symptoms in opiate addicts, were found inside the jail cell of Cameron Douglas. The 32-year-old, who has long battled drug abuse, now faces a maximum punishment of an additional 20 years behind bars. He is set to be sentenced on December 21.

Michael Douglas has a new gig - he is helping the Feds capture some real Gordon Gekkos.

The 67-year-old actor, who won an Oscar for playing the greedy corporate executive in the 1987 movie "Wall Street," stars in a new public service announcement for the FBI that calls on citizens to turn in people they suspect are committing securities fraud or insider trading. Check out the video.

Michael Douglas has been named as another presenter at the 84th Academy Awards on February 26, telecast producers announced on February 20.

Douglas won an Oscar for his lead performance in the 1987 film "Wall Street" and a Best Picture award as a producer of the 1975 film "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest." Douglas, who battled throat cancer last year, is known for his roles in films like "Traffic," "Wonder Boys," "Falling Down," "Fatal Attraction" and "The China Syndrome."

Gina Carano, a former mixed martial arts fighter, is ready to "hurt anybody" for her fellow cast members of the new movie "Haywire," which stars Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and Bill Paxton.

This is the second and biggest film for Carano, a 29-year-old Texas native, who also appeared on the reboot of the show "American Gladiators. In "Haywire," a thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh, she plays Mallory Kane, a freelance covert operative who is betrayed by a person who works for her agency and seeks revenge, while assassins are sent to kill her.

Matt Damon and Michael Douglas are set to play a gay couple in the new HBO film "Behind the Candelabra," a biopic about iconic flamboyant pianist Liberace.

The movie will give viewers a "behind-the-scenes look at the tempestuous relationship between legendary entertainer Liberace and Scott Thorson, his younger live-in lover," producers said in a statement released by HBO Films on Tuesday, October 11.

A television adaptation of "Romancing The Stone," a 1984 film starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, is in the works, a report says.

In the movie, Turner plays a romance novelist named Joan Wilder who flies to Colombia to try and rescue her kidnapped sister and ends up on a treasure quest in the jungle with a mysterious American traveler named Jack T. Colton, played by Douglas.

Michael Douglas says Catherine Zeta-Jones was "outed" over her treatment for bipolar II disorder at a mental hospital and adds that his wife is now doing "great."

The 41-year-old Oscar-winning Welsh actress spent several days at a Connecticut facility and her spokesperson had said she began her treatment "after dealing with the stress of the past year."

The battle between Michael Douglas and his ex-wife over his "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" paycheck is heading back to a New York court after Diandra Douglas' first lawsuit was dismissed in November 2010.

According to the Associated Press, lawyers for both sides were in court on Tuesday over Diandra Douglas' continuing efforts to get half the Academy Award-winning actor's take from the 2010 movie.
