Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax to perform 'Big 4' show in U.S.
Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax are set to perform together for the first time in the United States as part of the heavy metal bands' touring "Big 4 Festival."
The four groups will take the stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California on April 23. Tickets for their U.S. show go on sale on Friday, January 28 at 10 a.m. ET.
The four bands performed in Europe together last year and Megadeth and Slayer are set to tour the continent together again from March 13 to April 14, beginning in Ukraine.
"The vibe was just so incredible at last year's Big 4 shows that we can't stop now!!" a message on Metallica's website said.
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival takes place at the venue the previous weekend, from April 15 to April 17 (see the list of bands and artists set to perform at Coachella 2011).
