Melissa Rycroft was rushed to the hospital Sunday, October 21, after being injured during rehearsal for "Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars," according to her rep.
Rycroft reportedly fell and hurt her head and neck while practicing for Monday night's group number. She has been released from the hospital.
"Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined. She was accompanied to the hospital by her husband, Tye Strickland, and her dance partner, Tony Dovolani. Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time," Rycroft's representative said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com.
It was not immediately known how severe her injury was or if it will affect her in the rest of the competition.
Dovolani, Tweeted about Rycroft on Sunday at 7:25 p.m. PT saying, "Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft..... we don't know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers #trouper."
Last week, Rycroft and Dovolani finished in fourth place in the judges' scores with 37 out of 40 for their Jitterbug.
Due to the presidential debate, only four of the eight couples will dance on Monday. The remaining couples will dance Tuesday and there will be no elimination this week.
