Mayim Bialik has reportedly been made a series regular on "The Big Bang Theory" after making her debut on the CBS show last season as Sheldon's pseudo girlfriend.
Bialik, a 34-year-old actress who was the star of the 1990s series "Blossom", appeared on "The Big Band Theory" on the current fourth season. CBS had no immediate comment on the report, carried by Deadline.com, which also added that it is unclear if Bialik's character, Amy, will return in future seasons.
Melissa Raunch, who plays Bernadette, was made a series regular earlier this year. The show, which tells of quirky physicists who are roommates, earned Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon, an Emmy.
