Matthew Bellamy to marry Kate Hudson, who is pregnant?
Kate Hudson, who is pregnant with her second child, is not ruling out marrying boyfriend Matthew Bellamy, the baby's father.
Hudson, who turned 32 on Tuesday, April 19, and Bellamy, the 32-year-old singer of the British alternative rock band Muse, have been linked together since early 2010. Hudson revealed her pregnancy earlier this year.
When asked if she and Bellamy would walk down the aisle soon, Hudson told InStyle magazine in an interview in its May 2011 issue: "I wouldn't count it out. But Matthew and I kind of skipped that part and went right to the good stuff!"
Hudson said her current pregnancy was unplanned. The two met at the Coachella music festival in California.
"We realized we had met a few years earlier, in Australia," Hudson said. "Then I got distracted and said, 'I've got to find my friends, I don't know where they went.' He just looked at me and said, 'Come on, I'll take care of you.' That's when I went, 'Wait a minute, who are you?'"
Hudson has a 7-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the rock band the Black Crowes. The actress told People magazine she is happy she was "so young" - 24 years old - when she became a mother for the first time.
Hudson and Robinson divorced in 2007 after almost seven years of marriage. Hudson's mother, actress Goldie Hawn, is not married to life partner and actor Kurt Russell.
Hudson is known for her role as "Band Aid" groupie Penny Lane in the 2000 film "Almost Famous." She has also starred in films such as "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "You Me and Dupree" with Owen Wilson, whose girlfriend Jade Duell welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Robert Ford Wilson, in January.
Hudson is currently promoting her latest movie, the romantic comedy "Something Borrowed." The film also stars Ginnifer Goodwin from "Big Love" and John Krasinski from "The Office" and hits theaters on May 6.
