Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, are reportedly set to renew their marriage vows at a party in St. Lucia this weekend, The Associated Press reported on Saturday, April 13.
A former top government official told the wire service about the ceremony, which is being held at the Sugar Beach resort. The invitation list reportedly includes A-listers like George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Ben Affleck.
Matt Damon is using potty humor to call attention to a matter close to his heart.
The Oscar winner appears in a new PSA for Water.org, a non-profit charity group he co-founded that raises awareness about people who lack access to clean water and sanitation and has helped impoverished communities in Africa, South Asia, and Central America. In the video, he appears at a fake press conference to make an important announcement.
Throughout this Oscar season, we are looking back at some of the great moments in Oscar history. At the 70th Oscars in 1998, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for their 1997 drama "Good Will Hunting."
The film centered around Boston native Will Hunting, portrayed by Damon, who is a 20-year-old genius forced to study math and labor to get by and avoid jail time. Hunting sees a therapist, portrayed by Robin Williams, and re-evaluates the key relationships in his life with his best friend who is portrayed by Affleck, and his girlfriend who is portrayed by Minnie Driver.
Matt Damon stars in the upcoming HBO Liberace biopic "Behind the Candelabra" and the actor talked in a recent interview about the amount of nudity required for the role and what it was like kissing co-star Michael Douglas.
"Normally I'd say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace, Scott Thorson, in 'Behind the Candelabra,'" Damon said in the January/February issue of Playboy magazine [Warning: link contains explicit language], which hits newsstands on December 18. "I mean, it's tastefully done. Steven Soderbergh directed it, and Michael Douglas plays Liberace. But this movie's not going to be for everyone."
Matt Damon may join George Clooney's new Nazi-themed movie "The Monuments Men," a report says.
The cast of the film also includes the likes of "Skyfall" star Daniel Craig, Bill Murray, Hugh Bonneville of the mini-series "Downton Abbey," Cate Blanchett and Jean Dujardin and John Goodman, his co-star in the 2011 Oscar-winning film "The Artist." Damon is currently in negotiations to join them, according to Deadline. The cast member's roles have not yet been announced.

Matt Damon believes that having his own family helped him with his role in "We Bought A Zoo."
The actor stars in the film as Benjamin Mee, a widower with two children who purchases a rundown zoo. The movie is based on the true story of Mee and his family, who run the Dartmoor Zoological Park in England.
Matt Damon will not appear in the upcoming "Bourne" spy film and is apparently embarrassed to have been involved with the franchise's last installment, "The Bourne Ultimatum."
"It's really the studio's fault for putting themselves in that position," Damon told GQ magazine for their January issue. "I don't blame [screenwriter] Tony [Gilroy] for taking a boatload of money and handing in what he handed in. It's just that it was unreadable. This is a career-ender. I mean, I could put this thing up on eBay and it would be 'Game Over' for that dude. It's terrible. It's really embarrassing. He was having a go, basically, and he took his money and left."
