Martin Scorsese, who brought us behind the scenes of the life of a Beatle, is set to direct and produce an HBO documentary about another international icon -- former President Bill Clinton.
The new project will be made with the 66-year-old U.S. leader's "full cooperation," the cable channel said in a Twitter message posted on Monday.
Martin Scorsese's new documentary film "George Harrison: Living in the Material World," based on the life of the former Beatles singer, has been acquired by HBO.
The famed director worked with Harrison's widow Olivia on the film, which will air in two parts on the cable network on October 5 and 6, according to an HBO statement obtained by OnTheRedCarpet.com.
Martin Scorese's "Hugo" got top honors from the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures on December 1. The film was named Best Picture and Scorsese also nabbed the award for Best Director.
A gala for the National Board of Review Awards will be held on January 10 at New York's Cipriani's and will be hosted by the "Today" show's Natalie Morales.
