Mark Wahlberg wins 'Guy of the Year' Award at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards

Mark Wahlberg took home the "Guy of the Year" award at last night's Spike TV Guys Choice Awards.

Wahlberg was on-hand to accept the award and his Oscar-nominated film "The Fighter" took the "Guy Movie of the Year" award. Micky Ward, who Wahlberg portrayed in the movie was also at the award show along with his half-brother Dicky Eklund and director David O. Russell.

Backstage, Wahlberg talked about the street basketball film he is working on with Justin Bieber, which will mark the pop star's first dramatic role.

"It's more like Paul Newman and 'The Hustler,'" Wahlberg told the Associated Press. "You know, it's kind of like an older guy mentoring - a reluctant mentor to a young guy. It's something that would be very surprising to people, the kind of role that he would play, and what he would be capable of doing as an actor."

Both Wahlberg and Bieber were recently named in the Times magazine Most Influential list. Wahlberg was honored for his dedication to his work and for founding the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, which gives much-needed funds to youth service and enrichment programs.

The ceremony, which was held at Sony Pictures Studios, will be broadcast on Friday on Spike TV.

Robert De Niro presented Keith Richards with the "Brass Balls" award and joked that Sean Penn peaked with "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," which was inducted into the Guy Movie Hall of Fame, where it joins "GoodFellas," "Swingers," "There's Something About Mary" and "Fight Club."

A few women were also awarded at the ceremony - "Black Swan" actress Mila Kunis was honored with the "Holy Grail of Hot" trophy and Jennifer Aniston won the "Decade of Hotness" award.
