Mark Cuban offers Donald Trump $1 million to shave head
Mark Cuban has challenged fellow businessman Donald Trump.
The "Shark Tank" judge responded to Trump's Barack Obama "surprise," by offering him $1 million for the charity of his choice if he shaves his head. The challenge was in response to Trump's "big announcement" where he promised to donate $5 million to a charity of President Barack Obama's choice, if he released his college transcripts and passport records.
Cuban, a billionaire who also owns the Dallas Mavericks told the city's Fox 4 News, "The offer he made for $5 million, that was one of the dumbest things ever. But I thought about responding to him, maybe if I put up a million or two million, if he'll shave his head?"
Looking at the camera, Cuban said, "Donald, you shave your head, $1 million to any charity you want."
Trump's hair has long been a topic of discussion. The style, which was described by Vanity Fair magazine as a "double comb-over," has also been called a "hair piece." In a 2010 appearance on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, Trump exposed his actual hairline (watch the video).
Trump has not yet responded to the offer, but has engaged in several Twitter fights recently with Star Jones, Solange Knowles and Chrysler VP Ralph Gilles.
Since making his announcement, Trump has received criticism from many outlets, including Barbara Walters, who spoke of the offer on "The View."
"Donald, you and I have known each other for many years and you know that I am your friend and you know I think you are a brilliant businessman and you are great on television and you have a fascinating personality," Walters said. "Donald, you're making a fool of yourself. You're not hurting Obama, you're hurting Donald and that hurts me because you're a decent man. Stop it. Get off it, Donald."
Trump also appeared on "The Late Show with David Letterman," where Letterman joked that if CBS saw his own college transcripts, he would be out of a job as he "barely graduated."
No other president has been asked to release this information and though Trump claimed that he would be happy if the records were perfect, he is the one who demanded the President reveal his birth certificate as well.
