Mariska Hargitay adopts another baby - a boy

Mariska Hargitay, who plays Detective Olivia Benson on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," and her husband, Peter Hermann, have adopted a second child - a boy named Andrew Nicolas Hargitay Hermann, months after bringing home a baby girl.

Their new son was born this past summer, according to People magazine, which carried the report on Wednesday, October 19.

This is the third child for the couple. In April, it was announced the two had adopted a newborn baby girl, Amaya Josephine.

Hargitay, 47, and Hermann, a 43-year-old actor, also have a biological son, August, who is 5. (See photos of Mariska Hargitay and other celebrities with their children).
