Marisa Miller and husband welcome a baby boy
Marisa Miller and her husband, music producer Griffin Guess, are now the parents of a baby boy.
Miller, a 34-year-olf former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model, gave birth in Santa Cruz, California, at 7:58 p.m., People magazine reports. The boy, named Gavin Lee Guess, weighed 9 pounds and 10 ounces at birth.
"I'm completely overjoyed by the birth of our son. I feel so blessed to be a mom and am so excited to experience this next part of life," Miller told the magazine.
It is the first child for Miller and Guess who wed April 2006. Miller, born Marisa Bertetta, was previously married to a Los Angeles surfing contest promoter named Jim Miller from 2000 to 2002. She announced her pregnancy in June.
In December, the model, who has also posed for Victoria's Secret lingerie, posed topless with her hair and arms covering her chest and her baby bump exposed, in exclusive photos published in Allure magazine.
In May, Miller starred in a commercial for Buick Enclave. The Santa Cruz native joins "Mission Impossible" actor Ving Rhames and NBA star Shaquille O'Neal as a representative for Buick.
Miller has also served as a spokesmodel for the NFL in 2010 (see photos) and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
The supermodel has also dabbed in acting - she appeared in episodes of "Entourage" and "Gary Unmarried" and co-stars with Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in the film R.I.P.D., which is set for release in July 2013.
