Mario Lopez gets playful wedding advice from Khloe Kardashian Odom
Mario Lopez received some playful advice for his upcoming wedding from fellow "X Factor" host Khloe Kardashian Odom.
"During rehearsals we have to do a commercial break and [Mario and I] are always gossiping," Kardashian Odom said, according to Zap2It. "He's really into weddings right now, which is great. He's like, 'OK, what time did you cut the cake?' I'm like, 'I don't know, I was so wasted at my wedding!'"
Khloe married NBA player Lamar Odom in 2009. In January, it was announced that Lopez, who hosts the show "Extra" as well, proposed to his girlfriend of four years, Courtney Mazza, over New Year's weekend in Ixtapa, Mexico.
While the reality starlet offered the lighthearted advice to the husband-to-be, she also gave him some sincere guidance - "enjoy yourself."
"But seriously, someone told me: 'At your wedding you get so caught up with being a host," she continued. "You shouldn't spend your whole wedding not with each other. Everyone's gonna have fun. You have music and food, [the guests are] gonna be fine. You and your husband or wife, you have to take a few minutes to yourselves. Just watch the whole scene and ambiance. It will never be that same moment.' I told him that because it was the best piece of advice I got. Lamar and I [still] talk about those little moments."
Lopez and Mazza, who share 2-year-old daughter Gia, are set to be wed in Punta Minta, Mexico on Saturday, December 1. The event will be a part of a two-hour wedding special set to air on Saturday, December 8 on TLC at 8/7 CT. Khloe's wedding was also televised, on the E! channel.
Lopez celebrated his bachelor party weekend in Las Vegas with 15 of his closest friends in September, according to Extra TV. While the host was looking forward to an evening of "dinner, cocktails and a cigar," he was in a for a surprise when his future wife took the stage at Planet Hollywood's Pussycat Dolls show that he was attending -- dressed as a dominatrix dancer.
"She looked hot," he told Extra following her performance. "She was amazing. I don't know about my friends checking her out, but ... it was awesome!"
Lopez was first married to former Miss USA Ali Landry in April 2004, after dating for six years. Landry had the marriage annulled only two weeks later after finding out that Lopez had cheated on her during their engagement.
