Mariah Carey continues to sport a fashion-forward sling, this time a studded black sling, at the New York premiere of the film "Lee Daniels' The Butler" on Aug. 5.

Following an injury on the set of her music video for the remix of her hit single "#Beautiful," for which Carey dislocated her shoulder and cracked a rib, the singer has been rocking a number of bedazzled, feathered and studded slings to numerous appearances since her on-set injury.

Carey wore a classic little black dress by designer Tom Ford, which was complimented by a black Alice headband and a leather studded arm-sling. The singer completed the look with Valentino bow-front lace peep-toe heels and husband Nick Cannon by her side.

The pop star and former "American Idol" judge recently wore three differing slings at the MLB All-Star Charity Concert, benefiting Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in New York City's Central Park on July 13, where she performed with the New York Philharmonic. Carey additionally had shared a picture of herself on a hospital bed on Twitter, telling fans she would be "sporting a very fashionable sling."

Carey costars in "Lee Daniels' The Butler" alongside Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, Minka Kelly, Liev Schreiber, Jane Fonda and more in the historical drama, which held its premiere at the famous Ziegfeld Theater in New York (see PHOTOS) . The film hits theaters nationwide on Aug. 16.
