Mariah Carey and singer Miguel go crusing on a motorcycle in the new video for their duet "#Beautiful."

The video, which can be seen below, debuted on "American Idol" on Thursday, May 9. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn, according to Billboard.com. Khan is the director behind memorable music videos like Britney Spears' "Toxic," Brandy and Monica's "The Boy is Mine" and Eminem and Rihanna's "Love the Way You Lie."

Carey is clad in a black cropped top and short-shorts in the beginning of the video. She and Miguel ride a motorcycle together for part of the video and then Miguel is seen in the driver's side of a vintage red Porsche while Carey dances in front of it in a short yellow dress.

According to Billboard, the song is the lead single off her upcoming 13th studio album, which is reportedly set to be released this summer.

The song was written and produced by Carey and Miguel. Miguel, 27, recently achieved major success due to his second album "Kaleidoscope" and the hit single "Adorn."

He won a Grammy award earlier this year for Best R&B Song for "Adorn" and Kelly Clarkson gave him a shout out during one of her acceptance speeches at the ceremony saying that she wanted to work with him.

On May 6, Carey spoke to "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show about working with Miguel.

"I'm a huge fan of his music and as I think everybody's just so blown away by him right now," she told Seacrest. "We got together. He had started writing this song with just the guitar riff."

"I have to say this about him as a collaborator, sometimes when you haven't worked with somebody you don't really know what they do in the studio and if they have the same kind of love & that love for music that I have and & he's the truth," Carey added. "We just wanted to do something different that has a texture that feels fresh."

Carey recently made some changes to her management. It was reported that the singer dropped fellow "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson as her manager. Jackson, along with Irving Azoff, began representing Carey in November 2011. Carey previously worked with Jackson when she was signed to Columbia Records.
