Margaret Cho reveals her 'Dancing With The Stars' salary, wants another chance to compete
Margaret Cho did not last very long on season 11 of "Dancing With The Stars," but the actress and comedian will never claim she was robbed at her shot for the mirror ball trophy during her time on the show.
"People will ask me about that show and they always tell me, 'Oh Margaret, you were robbed on 'Dancing.' You were robbed,'" Cho said during her appearance on "The View" on June 1. Her appearance can be seen below. "That's like saying somebody broke into my house and left me $200,000."
When asked by co-host Joy Behar if that was indeed her salary, Cho replied, "About that, yeah."
"Don't feel sorry for anyone who gets voted off," she added. "That's what they made."
Cho, 43, competed on the show's 11th season with partner Louis van Amstel in 2010. She was the third contestant to get eliminated that season. "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd competed on the most recent season of "Dancing With The Stars" and was also the third contestant eliminated.
"I'm trying to beg Sherri, let's please do 'Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars,'" Cho told Shepherd. "We'll go back, we'll tie and win. It'll be so fabulous."Cho currently stars on the Lifetime series "Drop Dead Diva," which premiered its fourth season on June 3. Cho plays Teri Lee, a paralegal assistant to the show's main character Jane. Kim Kardashian is doing a three-episode guest stint on the series for the season.
The comedian also appeared on several episodes of "30 Rock" as North Korea dictator Kim Jong-Il and recently appeared on this season's penultimate episode as Jong-II's son Kim Jong-Un.
