Madonna posts Facebook photos of bruises, rehearsal with weapons
Madonna recently posted photos of what she said were bruises she sustained while practicing for her upcoming tour, as well as an image from a rehearsal, which shows her and backup performers with weapons and bandana masks.

The pictures of the singer's injuries were posted on her Facebook page on Saturday. One featured the caption: "Bruises on my leg from rehearsal." Another read: "cut my lip from rehearsing 'Girl Gone Wild,'" referring to Madonna's latest single, which was released earlier this month.
The third showed what the singer called a "heart shaped bruise on my ass."
More than 2,900 people have commented about the photos. One user called the images "inspirational." Another wrote: "The close up of your lip is very revealing, I've not seen a prettier mouth ever."
Madonna's world tour is set to begin in Israel on May 29 and follows the release of her upcoming 12th studio album, "MDNA." She gave fans a taste of what's to come with a high-energy performance at the 2012 Super Bowl, during which she performed several gymnastics moves.
"Yikes. You are literally busting your ass to make this tour amazing," a user said about her bruises. "On the plus side I'm STOKED you're finally taking personal pics and posting them."
On Monday, a photo of Madonna lying with her backup performers was published. The picture can be accessed by "liking" Madonna's Facebook page. The group sports bandanas covering their mouths. Two people are holding pistols while a third is holding what appears to be a rifle.
The black and white photo is posted above audio samples of several new songs from her new album, including "Gang Bang," "Love Spent" and "I'm Addicted."
