Madonna, manager react to single leak, 'Give Me All Your Love'
Madonna was upset with the leak of her first single off her upcoming album, "Give Me All Your Love" on Wednesday, according to her manager Guy Oseary.
"I'm very happy with the positive reaction to the demo, but we are very upset with whoever leaked the song!" Oseary wrote on Twitter on November 9, adding, "Madonna told me this morning "my true fans wouldn't do this"... whoever is responsible for this leak, we ask that you please stop!"
According to the entertainment website JustJared.com, Madonna will perform "Give Me All Your Love" at Super Bowl XLVI on February 5, 2012 in Indianapolis. The website also confirmed that Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. are featured on the track.
"We are asking that the fans please help us police any more leaks.. We have a lot in store for you.. but please respect the process," Oseary continued.
Oseary also fielded questions from fans on Twitter, revealing that the 12th studio album does not have a name and is not yet finished, but "should be done in the next month." Madonna previously revealed that she planned to debut the album in spring 2012.
Madonna's new album will be the first since entering her $120 million deal with Live Nation in 2007, after leaving the Maverick label she started with Time Warner. The singer's last record for her former label and last album of original recordings was 2008's "Hard Candy."
In June, Madonna attended the Venice Film Festival to promote her upcoming film "W.E.," which she wrote and directed. The film stars Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough and James D'Arcy. Oseary confirmed on Twitter that Madonna had written a ballad for the film, which is slated for release on December 9, 2011.
Also in June, Madonna's ex-husband, director Guy Ritchie welcomed a son with his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley.
In May, the singer celebrated her 53rd birthday with a romantic getaway with 24-year-old French break dancer Brahim Zaibat.
Zaibat recently opened up about meeting the singer, telling the British newspaper the Daily Mail, "It wasn't like meeting a monster! She's just a woman like all the others. She's an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all."
The pop star has been linked to Zaibat since last year, after he performed at the launch of Madonna's clothing line at Macy's in New York, following her split from Brazilian model Jesus Luz, who is also 24.
