The 2013 MTV Movie Awards is going to be a battle between Jamie Foxx and a teddy bear with "Django Unchained" and "Ted" topping the list of nominees for this year's award show.

Each film earned seven nominations including "Best Fight," "Best Kiss" and "Movie of the Year." Jennifer Lawrence's drama film, "Silver Linings Playbook," also leads the pack with six nominations total. MTV announced the nominees on March 5 with 13 categories. There were new categories like "Best Shirtless Performance" and "Best WTF Moment."

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards aired on June 3 and it seemed like no other film was a match for "The Hunger Games."

The blockbuster film, which earned eight nominations, took home four golden popcorn awards including "Movie of the Year," "Best Male Performance" and "Best Female Performance."

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" was the big winner of the night at the MTV Movie Awards and Robert Pattinson shocked the audience by kissing his "Twilight" co-star Taylor Lautner on the lips.

The three stars were all nominated in the "Best Kiss" category for "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," the previous installment in the vampire film series. Stewart was nominated for her kisses with both Pattinson and Lautner. Stewart and Pattinson won the award for the third year in a row and teased the audience with near-kisses in the past two years.
