Lily Collins in talks to play Snow White in 'The Brothers Grimm: Snow White'
Lily Collins, daughter of musician Phil Collins, might soon take a bite of one bad apple.
The 22-year-old actress is in talks to play Snow White in the upcoming film "The Brothers Grimm: Snow White," a movie adaptation of the popular fairy tale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In the fairy tale, which spurred a 1937 animated Disney film, the Evil Queen aims to destroy her stepdaughter after a magic mirror tells her Snow White is the fairest one in the land. In the film adaptation, Snow White and the seven dwarfs work to reclaim their destroyed kingdom from the Evil Queen.
"The Brothers Grimm: Snow White" is due for release in 2012 and is currently in development. A script has been written but a production schedule has not yet been released.
Collins previously played Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blind Side" and will star alongside "Twilight" star Taylor Lautner in "Abduction."
Another "Snow White" film adaptation, "Snow White and the Huntsman," also in the works.
"Lord of the Rings" actor Viggo Mortensen may also star and Charlize Theron is reportedly in negotiations to play the Evil Queen.
