Leah Messer of 'Teen Mom 2' denies she's expecting twins
Leah Messer of MTV's "Teen Mom 2" has denied that she is expecting twins again, following reports that she is pregnant and engaged.
"Thank you @intouchweekly for telling me I am having twins again," Messer wrote on Twitter on January 12. "Love bad reporting and fake stories, it does sound like a Soap Show! Ha!"
Messer's boyfriend, Jeremy Calvert confirmed that they are expecting.
"Yes, Leah is having my baby!" Calvert told Reality Weekly magazine. "I was at work when Leah called to tell me. She'd gotten blood work done and it came back positive. At first I was kind of surprised -- but I was happy."
Calvert proposed to the 19-year-old mother of two with a Christmas ornament on Christmas Day.
<p "I bought an ornament for the tree that said 'Engaged' with both our names on it and the date," Calvert told the industry magazine. "And when I saw Leah looking at it, that's when I gave her the ring. It's a 1.5 princess-cut diamond."Messer is the mother of two-year-old twins, Aliannah and Aleeah, with her ex-husband, Corey Simms. She was married to Simms for only six months last year, before filing for divorce.
"Teen Mom 2" documents the challenges of four teens' first years of motherhood. It is the spin-off of reality series "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom."
Earlier in the week, Messer's co-star Janelle Evans was arrested after allegedly harassing her former roommate.
