LeAnn Rimes denies making a sex tape with ex-husband
LeAnn Rimes says she'll never be the target of a sex tape scandal.
The singer and actress took to her official Twitter page on Thursday after, according to People magazine, rumors of a sex tape featuring Rimes and ex-husband Dean Sheremet surfaced.
"I hear there are rumors of a 'sex tape' I have never filmed myself having sex on tape, period," Rimes wrote on the social networking site. "Haven't joined that club LOL!"
28-year-old Rimes and Sheremet got divorced in June 2010 after Rimes and Eddie Cibrian went public with their romance in 2009. The two fell in love on the set of the Lifetime movie, "Northern Lights." At the time, Cibrian was still married to Brandi Glanville while Rimes was married to Sheremet.
Cibrian and Glanville finalized their divorce in October 2010. Cibrian, 37, and Rimes tied the knot on April 22.
"I'm Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you," Rimes wrote on her Twitter page the morning after the wedding.
Recently the singer also used the social networking site to defend her body following fan concerns that she is "scary skinny.
One of Rimes' followers commented on the photos, saying: "Whoa, you're scary skinny! Sorry don't mean to offend but that's a lot of bones showing through skin."
The country singer replied: "Those are called abs, not bones, love," adding later, "This is my body, and I can promise you I'm a healthy girl. I'm just lean. Thanks for your concern, but no need to be."
