Lady Gaga dresses in drag for new single cover 'You and I' - See photo
From her Video Music Awards meat dress in 2010 to being carried in an egg-shaped pod at the 2011 Grammys, Lady Gaga proves she is fearless when it comes to fashion.
For her latest single, "You and I," the singer decided to switch things up and dress in drag.
"You will never find what you are looking for in love, if you don't love yourself," She wrote to her Twitter fans on August 5, along with a photo of the cover seen above.
This might not be the singer's first time in drag. A male model by the name of Joe Calderone appeared in a September 2010 Japanese Men's Vogue photo shoot and fans instantly speculated that the model was actually Lady Gaga in drag. Though the singer never admitted it was her, The Hollywood Reporter notes that her stylist, Nicola Formichetti, used the magazine's photos on her official website and Calderone talks about meeting Lady Gaga.
Gaga announced that "You and I" would be the next single off her album "Born This Way" when she performed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last month.
On August 1, Lady Gaga donned houndstooth outfit and joined the ladies of "The View." It was reported earlier that the she is working on a photography book with famed fashion photographer Terry Richardson.
The book titled "Lady Gaga," will be released by Grand Central Publishing on November 22 will include more than 350 color and black-and-white photographs of Gaga.
Richardson followed the singer for 10 months between August 2010 and February 2011. That time period includes Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour and the recording of her album "Born This Way." The singer will write the book's forward.
