Lady Gaga debuts 'Edge of Glory' music video - What do you think?
Lady Gaga released her music video for "Edge of Glory" on Thursday, which features the pop star in leather bondage.
In the video, the 25-year-old dances around a city stoop and fire escape, wearing a black leather bondage vest, shorts and garters. It also features saxophone player Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springstein's E Street Band. He had recently suffered a stroke.
Gaga posted a link to the video on Twitter with the caption, "Directed By Haus of Gaga. Fashion from the last collection of the legendary Gianni Versace."
"I am greatly honored that Lady Gaga chose to wear a Versace Vintage look throughout her 'Edge of Glory' video," Donatella Versace said in a statement on Thursday. "I am a great fan of hers and I believe that my brother Gianni would have appreciated her talent. Like him, Lady Gaga is unafraid to push boundaries and she has created an original vocabulary by merging fashion, music, theatre and art. For me, this video represents a wonderful tribute to anyone who is unafraid to take chances."
The video premiered on FOX reality show "So You Think You Can Dance" and was posted online shortly after.
Gaga recently gathered her "little monsters" to make a "Get Well Clarence" YouTube video after the saxophonist fell ill.
Earlier in the week, Gaga wrote on Twitter, "In bed with Mommy thinking about Clarence, I can't wait for you to see the beautiful video we made together. He's a really special person."
