Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott engaged to boyfriend Chris Tyrell
Lady Antebellum singer Hillary Scott got engaged to her boyfriend, drummer Chris Tyrell during the Fourth of July weekend.
"Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed," Scott told People magazine. "Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and - in our workout clothes - he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together!"
Lady Antebellum, which includes band mates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, is currently headlining their summer tour and plan to release a new album "Own the Night" on September 13. The group took home five Grammys at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.
Scott, 25, met Tyrell on the Tim McGraw tour in 2010. Tyrell is currently on Brad Paisley's H20 II tour, drumming for the band Eden's Edge.
There is no date set for the wedding yet.
