Kristin Cavallari: Most 'Hills' stars not invited to wedding
Que the Draaaaaaamaaaaa! Kristin Cavallari says most of her former co-stars of the MTV reality shows "The Hills" and "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," will not be invited to her upcoming wedding with NFL player Jay Cutler.
The 28-year-old Chicago Bears quarterback and Cavallari, 24, have been dating since the fall of 2010. He proposed to her during a trip to Cabo San Lucas in April.
Cavallari told Ryan Seacrest in an interview that aired on his KIIS-FM radio show that Lauren Conrad of "The Hills" is among the cast members who will not receive a wedding invitation.
"No," she said. "I just don't talk to these people on a regular basis."
Cavallari, who hails from Denver, Colorado, starred on "Laguna Beach" between 2004 and 2005 and later appeared on its spinoff, "The Hills," between 2009 and its finale in 2010, replacing main star Conrad.
Cavallari told Seacrest that she also plans to exclude notorious "Hills" stars Whitney Port, Lo Bosworth, Jayde Nicole and couple Heidi Montag and husband Spencer Pratt. She said she would, however, invite his sister Stephanie Pratt and their friend Audrina Patridge, who also appeared on the reality series.
Stephen Colletti, an actor from the drama series "One Three Hill" who dated Cavallari in high school and appeared on "Laguna Beach," will also be on the guest list, she added.
"Hills" stars "Bobby" Brescia and Brody Jenner will not, Cavallari said, adding that her on-screen relationships with them were fake, although she was involved with Jenner six years ago, before they appeared together on the show. "The Hills" has often been criticized for appeared too scripted and even poked fun at the subject in its series finale last year.
Cavallari also told Seacrest that she and Cutler have been approached about developing a reality show about their lives together but will not appear on one any time soon. "Not going to happen," Cavallari said. "Jay hates all that stuff."
Cavallari said and Cutler planned to wed in the spring of 2012 but had not yet set a date. The wedding, she said, will likely be a large event, adding: "It really has to be really small, like 40 people, or really big, like 400 people. Jay has to invite the entire Bears team."
"It just really does feel right," she said about her decision to wed Cutler. "My parents are divorced so I'm extra careful about it. But I've never been so sure about it."
