Kristin Cavallari opens up about her 'Dancing With The Stars' experience - See video
Warning: spoilers ahead! Tensions were high in the ballroom during "Dancing With The Stars: The Results Show" on Tuesday night when Kristin Cavallari and Hope Solo were announced as the two contestants in jeopardy. In the end, Cavallari and her veteran "Dancing With The Stars" partner Mark Ballas saw their run for the mirror ball trophy end.
"I just had such an incredible experience," Cavallari told OnTheRedCarpet.com special correspondent George Pennacchio of KABC Television on Tuesday, after the results show. "We've become such a little family that it's really sad to leave. I'm going to miss seeing everybody everyday but I'm glad I did the show and I wouldn't take it back for anything."
Cavallari's loss was a bit of a surprise for her fellow contestants, considering that she and Ballas were in the middle of the pack on Monday when the pair received 24 out of 30 from the judges for their Samba.
"She's a great person and I've got a friend for life. I'm just really proud of her," Ballas said. "As far as the dancing goes, I don't think she deserves to be in this position but that's what makes the show the show. I mean, it's up to the voters and sadly we didn't get enough votes last night."
Ballas' longtime friend and fellow "Dancing With The Stars" pro, Derek Hough, called the elimination "very, very, very surprising." He added that Ballas "had a feeling" he would be sent home.
Cavallari said that she is "still rooting for everybody. I want everyone to do well and I'll probably come back and watch the show. It's sad but I had such a great experience that it is what it is and I'm okay with it."
"At least everybody wasn't expecting me to go home because I was horrible or anything like that," she added about her elimination.
