Kristin Cavallari, star of the MTV reality show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," and NFL player Jay Cutler are engaged.

The 27-year-old Chicago Bears quarterback proposed to Cavallari, 24, during a trip to Cabo San Lucas over the weekend, People magazine reported, adding that the two have been dating since the fall of 2010.

Cavallari's spokesperson had no immediate comment on the report.

The actress, who hails from Denver, Colorado, starred on "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" between 2004 and 2005 and later appeared on its spinoff, "The Hills," between 2009 and 2010. She also had parts on shows such as "Veronica Mars" and "CSI: NY."
