Kristen Stewart tops Forbes' list of Highest Paid Actresses
"The Twilight Saga" franchise and "Snow White and the Huntsman" helped Kristen Stewart land at the top of Forbes' list of Highest Paid Actresses in 2012.
The 22-year-old starlet beat out the likes of Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock for the top spot on the list and is gearing up to release the final film in "The Twilight Saga" franchise, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," on November 16.
In the final installment, Edward and the newly-turned vampire Bella will be forced to enlist several other vampire clans to protect their daughter from a false allegation which put their family in front of the Volturi.
Forbes' determines the rankings based on how much the actresses are paid upfront for their roles, residuals, endorsements and advertising work from May 2011 to May 2012.
The magazine estimates that Stewart has made $12.5 million for each "Twilight" film as well as a share of the profits. Stewart reportedly earned a total of $34.5 million from May 2011 to May 2012.
Coming in second place on Forbes' list is Cameron Diaz, who reportedly earned $34 million in the year. Diaz had a hit last year at the box office with "Bad Teacher." The actress reportedly had a deal which entitled her a part of the film's profits. The movie earned $216 million worldwide.
Stewart recently talked about what it was like filming "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" with 11-year-old Mackenzie Foy, who portrays Renesmee, the human/vampire hybrid daughter of her character, Bella Swan, and her on-screen love husband Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
Viewers recently got a new glimpse of Bella, Edward and Renesmee when a new teaser trailer for the final film in the franchise debuted on June 19. Check out the teaser below.
