Kristen Bell set to head back to television in new Showtime series
Kristen Bell is heading back to the small screen.
The actress, known for roles in "Veronica Mars," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," and for lending her voice to "Gossip Girl," will star in a new original Showtime series called "House of Lies," reports Entertainment Weekly.
Bell will co-star in the series opposite Academy Award-nominated actor Don Cheadle. The show is based on the book "House of Lies: How Management Consultants Steal Your Watch and Tell You the Time..."
According to the magazine, Cheadle plays a "cutthroat consultant who uses any means necessary to get his clients the information they want," and Bell will play his Ivy-League co-worker.
Also set to star in the show, according to the Los Angeles Times, is Ben Schwartz of "Parks and Recreation" and Josh Lawson of "Romantically Challenged."
