Kris Jenner writes she 'knew' O.J. Simpson 'had something to do' with Nicole Brown Simpson's death

While her daughter Kim Kardashian is in the midst of a divorce, Kris Jenner is dishing out details of her life in a new memoir "Kris Jenner...And All Things Kardashian" set to be released on Tuesday, November 1. In the book, Jenner talks about the death of her friend, Nicole Brown Simpson.

Jenner was a friend of Nicole Brown Simpson, who was married to former NFL player O.J. Simpson.

Nicole Brown Simpson filed for divorce from O.J. Simpson in 1992 after seven years of marriage. She was later murdered, along with friend Ronald Goldman, at her home in Los Angeles on June 12, 1994.

Jenner said that she received a call from Brown during the day on June 12, 1994 asking Jenner to come over and talk, according to E! News. Jenner was busy and told Nicole Brown Simpson she could meet up with her the following day. Jenner writes that the conversation "would be the last time I would ever speak to Nicole."

The following morning Jenner learned that Brown had been murdered. She writes she "instinctively knew that in some way O.J. [Simpson] had something to do with her death."

By that time, Jenner had been divorced from husband Robert Kardashian, the father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert Kardashian Jr. Robert Kardashian Sr. was part of O.J. Simpson's defense team during the Nicole Brown Simpson murder trial that included Johnnie Cochran. Simpson was later found not guilty on both murder charges.

"I truly couldn't believe she had been so betrayed by the person who she had once loved most. That O.J. would be so destructive and selfish and jealous that he would do that to her was just mind-blowing to me. All these thoughts were running through my mind. This can't be true," Jenner writes.

She also said Nicole "had been beaten up by O.J. and she had been keeping this in physical proof in the form of photographs and, it would, turn out, other evidence, in which she had documented 17 years of abuse."

Jenner married Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner in 1991. The couple stars on the E! series "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" along with their children.
