Kim Kardashian's wedding set to air as two-part special in October
Kim Kardashian's big wedding is getting the special treatment.
"Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event," will air as a two-part special on E! in October, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The first part will air Sunday, October 9 at 8 p.m., while part two will air on Monday, October 10 at 9 p.m. The episode will feature all the planning leading up to the event, to the couple's wedding on August 20.
Kardashian announced on Monday that she chose Vera Wang as her wedding dress designer.
"Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years," Kardashian wrote. "When it came to picking my wedding dress designer she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!"
She added, "I know that Vera can make my dream come true and create the most perfect gown for my special day."
Wang has designed wedding gowns for several celebrities including Alicia Keys, Jennifer Garner, Victoria Beckham and Kim Kardashian's sister Khloe Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian is set to wed Kris Humphries on August 20. The couple was spotted shopping for wedding cakes in Los Angeles on Friday.
Images of the couple's wedding invitation emerged online last week.
The invitations were designed by Lehr & Black, who also designed invitations for her sister Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Fergie and Josh Duhamel, Heidi Klum and Seal and Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, among others.
Kardashian celebrated her bachelorette party in Las Vegas on July 23 and ended up crashing Humphries' bachelor party. The 30-year-old reality star celebrated her final few weeks of single life at Tao Las Vegas with friends and sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian.
Kardashian and Humphries began dating in December 2010 and the basketball player proposed in May with a $1 million, 20.5 carat engagement ring.
