Kim Kardashian co-hosts 'Live! With Kelly' and talks wedding - How did she do?
Kim Kardashian joined Kelly Ripa to co-host "Live! With Kelly" on Monday, January 23, and the reality star talked candidly with Ripa about her failed marriage to Kris Humphries.
Kardashian told Ripa that she is a "hopeless romantic" and she denied she married for money.
"If you think I really made all that money that everyone claimed we made on the wedding and that it was for TV," Kardashian told Ripa. "I'm a smart businesswoman, I would have stayed married longer!"
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31. The couple was married for 72 days.
"This was a bad business decision. I really didn't think following my heart would create this much backlash," she added.
Kardashian is the first in a line of female co-host for Ripa for the week which is also set to include Kristin Chenowith, "So You Think You Can Dance" host Cat Deeley and "Dancing With The Stars" judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
Guests for the show included "Glee" actor Kevin McHale, pictured above with Ripa and Kardashian, and Lucy Lawless.
Kardashian's marriage failures have been documented on the latest season of "Kim and Kourtney Take New York." On Sunday's episode, the two sisters sat down with psychic medium John Edward who told them about their father Robert Kardashian and how he helped Kim through her first divorce.
After the visit with Edward, Kardashian came to the realization that she did not want to be married anymore.
The reality star admitted on Monday she has been watching the current season of the show and does not view it negatively.
"I watch it back because I think that it's kind of therapeutic," she said.
After her appearance, Kardashian Tweeted to Ripa, "Love you! Was so fun!"
Ripa thanked Kardashian for her "honesty, graciousness and gorgeousness" and added that Kardashian "made our Monday fun!"
