Kim Kardashian changing name after marrying Kanye West
Kim Kardashian's recent engagement to Kanye West already has her seeing wedding bells!
The reality star, who gave birth to her and West's daughter, North, over the summer, recently attended her 33rd birthday party at Tao Nightclub in Las Vegas, where she told E! News she plans on taking West's name once the couple weds.
"I will," Kim told E! News when asked if she would take on the name West. "It'll be Kim Kardashian West. You know, make it, no hyphen, make it the middle [name]."
Kardashian also revealed what was going through her mind during her whirlwind proposal moment, assuring fans she had no idea what West was about to do.
"I cried afterwards. I was shaking. And when you're like, 'Is this really happening?' But you're just shaking," Kardashian told E! News. I honestly had no idea, none whatsoever."
"I knew we were going to San Francisco for my birthday, because he had a show there the next night," Kardashian continued. "So I thought it was just a birthday dinner and then my eyes were closed and I got out and I still the whole time didn't think it was a proposal. I thought it was dinner on the baseball field and he had a night orchestra. I still didn't get it."
This will be the first marriage for West and the third for Kardashian, who was previously married to NBA player Kris Humphries. Their divorce was finalized in early June. Kardashian was first married to record producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.
