Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' wedding and reception details emerge
Now that their big day has come and gone, details about Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' wedding have been revealed.
While fans have known for a weeks that Kardashian would be walking down the aisle in a custom made Vera Wang gown, E! News has a description of the dress, which was strapless with a fitted bodice and "an epic train."
Kardashian wore a veil with a jeweled headpiece and shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti. The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star walked down the aisle with stepdad Bruce Jenner and held a bouquet of white roses. Sisters Khloe and Kourtney shared the matron and maid of honor duties while Kylie and Kendal were bridesmaids. Humphries' sister, Kaela Humphries, was also a bridesmaid. Kourtney Kardashian's son Mason Disick was a ring bearer.
The Christian service was presided over by Pastor Joel Johnson, who has a long relationship with Humphries' family. Before the wedding, the pastor asked Kardashian and Humphries to write down the thing they loved most about each other. Kardashian reportedly said that Humphries is the "yin to her yang" while Humphries wrote that he loved Kardashian for her compassion and how she talked about her family the first time they met.
After the wedding, guests went to a tent on the grounds of the picturesque $20-million estate in Montecito, California where the wedding occurred. Kardashian had not one, but two other dresses for the celebration, according to E! News. The first change was into an ivory-colored mermaid gown and the second change came late into the night with a V-neck satin gown with a circle skirt. Both dresses were also by Vera Wang.
Humphries changed his white tuxedo jacket and tie by Ermenegildo Zegna for black ones by the same designer to match his groomsmen, which included Rob Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian's husband, NBA star Lamar Odom.
The couple was introduced by singer Robin Thicke as "Mr. and Mrs. Humphries." Their first dance as husband and wife was to Thicke's song "Angels," which he sang live at the wedding.
The couple's wedding cake, which reportedly cost between $15,000 and $20,000, was a multi-tiered chocolate and vanilla swirl cake with a dash of chocolate chips.
This is her second marriage. Kim Kardashian married her first husband, music producer Damon Thomas, in 2000, when she was 19 years old. The two divorced in 2004.
Kardashian and Humphries began dating in December 2010 and the basketball player proposed in May with a $1 million, 20.5 carat engagement ring.
