Kim Basinger turns 59, daughter praises her, says she's never had Botox
Ireland Baldwin, the 17-year-old daughter of actor Alec Baldwin and ex-wife Kim Basinger, recently shared a touching birthday message about her mother, who she dubbed "the most naturally beautiful woman in the world."
Ireland Tweeted an Instagram photo of the actress from her younger years on December 8, the day Basinger turned 59, and praised her for her youthful look, telling her some 22,500 followers that her mom never got Botox treatments to try to appear younger.
Basinger, born in Georgia as Kimila Ann Basinger, rose to fame in the late 1980s with sexy bombshell parts in films such as "Batman" and "My Stepmother Is an Alien." She won an Oscar for her role in the 1997 film "L.A. Confidential."
"Happy birthday to the most beautiful woman in the entire world," Ireland Tweeted. "You are the most influential and inspirational figure in my life, and I've always looked up to you and no one else. I run to you if I'm ever in doubt or danger, and I'm grateful to you that you always find a way to come to my rescue."
"You are the most naturally beautiful woman there ever was and will be," she said. "Your skin care, workouts and advice on eating healthy inspire me to do the same. Ladies, if you want to avoid Botox and any other skin treatments, listen to my mom! She hasn't had one treatment done because she's stay completely out of the sun all these years!"
"Mom, you still look like your 17 and it's kind of embarrassing standing next to you," Ireland added. "Hopefully someday I will adopt your cheekbones and overall beauty.... Inside and out. You mean the world to me, Mom. We may argue about everything under the sun... But without you, I would be nothing. I love you. (sic)"
Ireland, the only child of the two actors, recently spent time with Basinger in Hawaii, as seen in a paparazzi photo posted by RadarOnline.
Ireland made headlines in 2007 after a voicemail left by her father, in which he was heard calling her a "rude, thoughtless little pig," went viral. She talked about the controversy in November, telling the New York Post: "I've always had a really great relationship with my dad. The only problem with that voicemail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was."
