Khloe Kardashian sued for alleged assault, report says
Khloe Kardashian is reportedly being sued by a transgender woman for allegedly attacking her outside of a nightclub in 2009.
According to legal papers filed by Chantal Spears, formerly named Ronald Spears, the incident occurred on December 5 in Hollywood and the "violent" attack required medical care and also caused "severe mental anguish."
Following the assault, TMZ interviewed Spears (see video below), who said the incident occurred after she made a comment to Kardashian's husband Lamar Odom.
"She pushed me and hit me," Spears told the entertainment site. "All I was telling Lamar Odom is maybe he is too young to get married and all of a sudden I get this big push from this girl."
Spears is seeking unspecified damages. No arrests or citations were made at the time of the incident. Kardashian and her rep had no immediate comment on the report.
Kardashian married the Los Angeles Lakers basketball player in September 2009. The couple appears on "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and the spin-off, "Khloe & Lamar."
It was announced on November 30 that Kourtney Kardashian is expecting her second child with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick. The couple, who've been together for five years, are parents to their son Mason, who is nearly 2-years-old.
The Kardashian's reality series "Kourtney & Kim Take New York" premiered on Sunday to record ratings. The E! network series also revealed early troubles in Kim Kardashian's marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries, before she filed for divorce at a Los Angeles court, 72 days after getting married.
The wedding of Kardashian and Humphries took place on August 20 under tight security at a $20 million estate near Santa Barbara. More than 500 people, including celebrities, attended the highly-publicized event.
