'Khloe & Lamar' reportedly on hold, not canceled
The season 2 finale of "Khloe & Lamar" is set to air on May 13 and rumors have spread online that the episode might be a series finale for the couple's reality series.
However, Kardashian's spokesperson told People magazine that rumors that the show is canceled are false. "It has NOT been canceled," the spokesperson told the magazine on April 30."It's just on hold now while schedules are figured out. It will depend on their schedules, as Lamar's basketball schedule is a priority."
The pair has had a rough couple of months since Odom was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks in December. Last month, Odom was put on the inactive list for the rest of the season and has parted ways with the team. Previously, he had been with the Lakers since 2004. Before that he played for the Miami Heat for a season and started out his career with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Khloe Kardashian has had to shoot down rumors of fertility problems. In the past the reality star admitted that Odom had a place to hide out from the camera crew when it became too much for him to handle.
Last week, the Kardashian family reportedly signed a $40 million deal with the E! Network to continue their hugely popular series, "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and its various spin-off shows.
E! Entertainment announced on April 25 that they had reached a deal for another three years of the series but didn't disclose details. Lamar Odom has his own package deal which includes "Khloe & Lamar."
The seventh season of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" is set to premiere on Sunday, May 20 at 9 p.m. on the E! Network.
