Kevin Bacon is nerdy fan in Logitech Revue ad - watch now
Kevin Bacon, a veteran actor who has spurred his own "Six Degrees" trivia game, appears in recent ads promoting Logitech Revue, a new gadget that allows viewers to watch Google TV.
In the ad, the 52-year-old plays a nerdy fan of himself.
"Am I obsessed with Kevin bacon? I don't know. I think I'm a devoted fan. Let's just say I happen to be in the mood for, I don't know, a movie about a rebellious teen where dancing is illegal," Bacon says in the ad, referring to his hit 1984 movie, "Footloose".
The Logitech Revue retails for about $300 and allows streaming footage from the search engine giant's service, such as authorized online shows or movies, to be broadcast on a television, which can also display other Web content.
Bacon, who is also gearing up to star in the new "X-Men" film "X-Men: First Class", and his actress wife Kyra Sedgwick made headlines in December 2008 when it was revealed they were among those who lost money on investments connected to Bernard Madoff, who ran a some $65 billion Ponzi scheme. Madoff, 72, is serving a 150-year sentence in a federal prison.
