Kendra Wilkinson speaks after 'Dancing With The Stars' elimination
Spoiler alert! Kendra Wilkinson and her partner Louis van Amstel bowed on Monday night with a solid score for their Tango that nabbed a 31 out of 40. Wilkinson received some praise from the judges for her progress on the show and could've gone on to the finals.
So when she was eliminated on Tuesday during "Dancing With The Stars: The Results Show," the crowd was a littled shocked, but Wilkinson says she's not too upset about getting the boot.
"We ended on my best ballroom dance ever," Wilkinson told OnTheRedCarpet.com. "I felt amazing, I felt great, I felt pretty, I felt, you know, I did the best I could and -- but it's the way it goes."
Wilkinson says that she got a chance to thank van Amstel off camera for his efforts with her over the season.
"I was so nervous before we found out we were eliminated," van Amstel said. "The moment we were -- a calmness came over me and it was fine."
He added, "We really had an amazing journey and this week, I felt we tackled the last thing that I that felt we needed to do for her to really, truly believe that she can do anything she wants."
"We accomplished exactly what we wanted to do. And that's not just create dances," van Amstel continued. "But it's really opportunity to feel good about who you are within."
"'Dancing With The Stars' has just added another layer to me," Wilkinson said when asked if her experience on the show has changed her. "I mean, it hasn't changed me. I'm still the same Kendra but 'Dancing With The Stars' is definitely going to be a part of me for the rest of my life."
