Kelsey Grammer's girlfriend Kayte Walsh suffers a miscarriage
Kelsey Grammer delivered sad news on Saturday when he announced to People that his girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, suffered a miscarriage.
"We lost our unborn child about six weeks ago," Grammer said in the statement to the magazine. "We would like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern ?but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we? publicly acknowledged our loss."The couple first announced the news of Walsh's pregnancy in August.
The actor is best known for portraying the character of Dr. Frasier Crane on the sitcom Cheers and its spinoff Frasier.
"We're very happy and we'd just like to ask that now that the news is out that everyone respect our privacy and celebrate with us," Grammer said at the time about the pregnancy.
When asked in August if he would marry Walsh, Grammer told a Splash News journalist in a video posted on TMZ.com, "I think that makes some sense." He added "I've got some other stuff I've got to clear up first."
The "other stuff" might refer to his thrid wife Camille Donatacci, a 41-year-old former Playboy model, who filed for divorce in a Los Angeles court in July and is seeking physical custody of their children - daughter Mason, 8, and son Jude, 5 - in addition to spousal support. The two have been married since August 1997.
The actor also has two children from previous relationships, including Spencer Grammer, who stars on ABC Family's comedy series Greek.
