Kelsey Grammer to marry girlfriend Kayte Walsh in February

01/13/2011 by Olivia Allin

Kelsey Grammer revealed to David Letterman on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Thursday night that he plans on marrying his girlfriend Kayte Walsh next month. The actor currently stars in the Tony Award-winning musical, "La Cage Aux Folles" and has been dating Walsh since July 2010.

"Kayte's my new girl and we're planning to get married soon," Grammer told the talk show host. "Sometime in February."

The 55 year-old actor told People magazine that he and fiancée Kayte Walsh, "are marrying because we are engaged, and we are engaged because we are in love and see no reason to postpone our happiness any longer."

Walsh, a 29-year-old British flight attendant, suffered a miscarriage earlier this year after becoming pregnant with Grammer's fifth child. When Grammer was asked in August, shortly after his spokesperson confirmed the pregnancy, if he would marry Walsh, the actor told a Splash News journalist on camera: "I think that makes some sense. I've got some other stuff I've got to clear up first."

The "other stuff" might refer to his third wife Camille Donatacci, a 41-year-old former Playboy model who currently stars in Bravo's "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Camille filed for divorce in July and is seeking physical custody of their children- daughter Mason, 8, and son Jude, 6 - in addition to a reported $50 million in the divorce settlement. The two have been married since August 1997.

Meanwhile, Camille Grammer currently stars in the newest installment of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," and has said that Kelsey Grammer encouraged her to join the show. It was recently reported that Camille might not return for a second season of the hit reality series.

Aside from playing the title role of a radio therapist on "Frasier", a part he originated on the 1980s series "Cheers", Kelsey Grammer also starred on the show "Hank" in 2009, played Beast in the movie "X-Men: The Last Stand" and voices the psychopath Sideshow Bob on the animated sitcom "The Simpsons".

He is also the voice of the Tin Man in the new animated "Wizard of Oz" reboot, "Dorothy of Oz", which stars "Glee" actress Lea Michele as Dorothy and is set for release in 2012.
