Kelsey Grammer expecting fifth child with new girlfriend

Kelsey Grammer is going to be a dad again. The newly single 55 year-old actor and his 29 year-old girlfriend Kayte Walsh are expecting a child together, reports London's Daily Mail. This marks Grammers fifth.

"Kayte (Walsh) and Kelsey (Grammer) are happy to confirm what Kayte's father told the London Daily Mail is true," Grammers representative confirmed. The actor's wife of 13 years filed for divorce on July 1.

The couple had two children together and the star has two other children from previous relationships. His oldest daughter Spencer starred on Greek.

Last month, Grammer was forced to address his divorce rumors online. On his site, KelseyLive.com he states, "Camille and I had been discussing the possibility of a separation for some time before all this happened. She finally decided she should file. I respect her for this decision ... I hope to have a great partnership with her in the raising of our children."

The actor also addressed rumors that the split was caused from a disagreement on Fathers Day where Grammer, who had been living in New York City while performing on the Broadway show La Cage Aux Folles, failed to call his children in Los Angeles.

"The truth is I did call my kids that evening," he says. "Frankly, I was surprised that they did not call me in the morning but I was thousands of miles away and working that day so I didn't give it a second thought."

Displaying no ill will towards his now estranged wife, Grammer says, "Certainly, the time will come when I do see another woman. I expect Camille to see other men. I hope people and the press will understand that we are both free to carry on with our lives."

Gossip and the rumor mill always thrive during times like these, as in the Father's Day story," he writes. "Whatever might be said, I ask that you take the 'high road.' I intend to do the same."
