Kelly Osbourne talks weight loss, being an exercise advocate
Kelly Osbourne recently revealed her secrets to maintaining her slimmer and healthier figure.
Osbourne recently opened up about her dramatic weight loss, which largely started with her 2009 run on "Dancing with the Stars," and the 5'2", 112-pound reality starlet attributes exercise to her success.
"[Working out] is something I really enjoy doing," Osbourne told In Touch magazine. "I never thought I'd be that kind of girl."
The 28-year-old "Fashion Police" star went on to explain that while her one cheat day a week consists of indulging in pizza, she maintains a very strict diet.
"For breakfast, I will eat either cereal or a little omelet thingy made with egg whites, mushrooms and spinach," Osbourne explained. "Lunch is usually a salad or a turkey burger. And then for dinner, I'll have brown rice with vegetables and some kind of meat."
Osbourne appeared on the April 2012 cover of Cosmopolitan Middle East and shared outtakes from the shoot on Twitter. Earlier in the year, she traded in her dyed gray hair for lavender tresses.
Kelly was a contestant on season nine of "Dancing With The Stars." The reality star was partnered with Louis Amstel and took third place. She also credited the dancing competition series with her impressive weight-loss at the time of its debut.
Osbourne has in recent years evolved from a foul-mouthed teenager on her rocker father Ozzy's reality show "The Osbournes" into a fashion icon. She is one of the panelists on the E! series "Fashion Police," critiquing celebrities' fashion choices.
Osbourne was also the face of the Spring 2011 collection of Madonna and Lourdes Leon's Material Girl line, replacing "Gossip Girl" actress Taylor Momsen.
In November 2010, Osbourne appeared on the cover of Shape magazine, flaunting her bikini body in a red two-piece bathing suit (Photo), saying that the photo was the ultimate revenge on every media outlet that had called her fat.
