Kathy Griffin is looking forward to the 2013 Oscars, saying she hopes it will inspire some juicy material for her Bravo talk show.

The 52-year-old comedienne, who is known for poking fun at Hollywood's elite, made her comments to OTRC.com at HBO's Golden Globes after party on January 13. The 2013 Oscars will take place on February 24.

"Well, now that I have a talk show, believe me, I'm watching every minute to think,' 'How am I going to talk about this on 'The Kathy Show?' 'Who could be a guest on the Kathy Show?' 'How can I integrate it into my act?' I'm watching but I'm also working," she told OTRC.com.

Griffin, whose talk show airs on Thursday nights on the Bravo cable channel, also talked about the Golden Globe Awards, saying that her favorite moment was Jodie Foster's speech acceptance for the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement. The actress had talked passionately about her personal life, her former female partner and her acting future (check out a transcript).

Griffin said Foster's speech was eloquent, adding: "She had a great sense of humor about it. It was sort of a non-announcement announcement."

"I also loved when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler came out with the drinks and looked at Lena Dunham and said, 'Oh, I'm so glad we got you through middle school' after they lost. It's great to have a sense of humor," Griffin added, referring to how Dunham won the Golden Globe for her leading role in her HBO show "Girls," beating Fey and Poehler, who were nominated for "30 Rock" and "Parks and Recreation."

"I'm a big 'Girls' fan -- I love everything that show represents," Griffin said. "I wish there had been a show for me when I was that age. But now when I watch it, I feel like I'm that age."

Dunham also talked to OTRC.com after the Golden Globes Awards, which also saw her take home an even more prominent prize -- Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical.

"I mean it's just amazing," Dunham said. "If it calls any new viewers into the show, that'll be incredible."
