Kate Middleton due date revealed? Duchess gives hint (Photos, poll)
The Royal Baby almost has a Royal Due Date.
Kate Middleton, aka the UK's Duchess of Cambridge, has revealed that she and Prince William are set to welcome their first child, a future heir to the British throne, in mid-July. She made her comments to an employee of a small homeless shelter for teenagers and young adults in Glasgow, Scotland during a recent visit with her husband.
"It's around mid-July but apparently babies have their own agenda," the UK newspaper The Daily Mail quoted Kate as telling the worker.
This narrows down the projected due date a bit -- the prince's office said in January that Kate and William "are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," which also debunked rumors that the duchess was pregnant with twins. The gender of Kate's baby, who will be the third in line to the British throne, has not been announced.
The Daily Mail also quoted Kate as telling the shelter worker that she and William "have a shortlist" of potential baby names for both boys and girls, adding: "It's very difficult. My friends keep texting me names."
Kate, known for her chic fashion style, wore a blue and gray coat by British designer Moloh during her visit to the shelter in Scotland, where she is known as the Countess of Strathearn. On Friday, on the second day of her visit to the area, she wore a red angora Armani coat, a black dress, black tights, black high-heeled boots and a red, tan and black tartan scarf.
