Kate Hudson is not married, says mom Goldie Hawn
Kate Hudson is not married to Muse musician Matthew Bellamy, her mother Goldie Hawn Tweeted over the weekend.
Rumors surfaced that Hudson, 32, secretly wed her fiance when alleged quotes from Hawn were reportedly printed in an interview she did with the U.K.'s Evening Standard ES Magazine.
"When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn't worry me," Hawn, 66, is quoted in several reports on the Standard article. "All that matters is that the relationship is a good one."
However, when asked by a follower on her verified Twitter page if her quotes were true, Hawn replied on March 16, "Darling once again twisted the truth. They aren't married. Xx"
"Baby they never get it right!! Xx," she said to another follower on March 18 regarding the same report.
The article on the Evening Standard's website can no longer be found. A spokesperson for Hudson had no immediate comment on the report.
Hudson and Bellamy became engaged in April 2011. Hudson gave birth to a son named Bingham 'Bing' Hawn Bellamy on July 9, 2011.
It is the first child for Bellamy,a singer in the British alternative rock band Muse. The two have been linked together since early 2010. The couple has yet to announce a date for their wedding.
The actress has a 8-year-old son, Ryder, with ex-husband Chris Robinson of the rock band the Black Crowes. The two divorced in 2007 after almost seven years of marriage. The two shared the first photo of their son in August.
It was announced in early February that is set to appear in the upcoming thriller "Everly," as a woman who breaks up with her mob boss boyfriend and is forced to protect herself against the assassins he hired to kill her.
"Everly" is based on a script by Yale Hannon, which was on the 2010 Black List of the best unproduced scripts. The film will be directed by Joe Lynch. The film is set to begin filming in May and will be financed by Adam Ripp and Rob Paris' Crime Scene Productions. Anonymous Content will also produce the film.
Hudson is best known for her comedic roles in films like "Almost Famous," "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," "Bride Wars" and "Something Borrowed."
