Kate Gosselin was fired from her CouponCabin gig, the CEO announced in an open letter on October 16.

Scott Kluth, the CEO of couponing website CouponCabin, wrote, "A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin."

Kate Gosselin appeared on Katie Couric's new talk show "Katie" on October 2 and said that she doesn't think filming the TLC reality series 'Jon & Kate Plus 8' caused her divorce.

"A lot of people try to pin reality TV and say, 'My gosh. It ended in divorce. Big surprise.' We went through a lot. The signs were always there, and obviously having eight kids in a short span of time didn't help that," Gosselin told Couric. "And I'm not at all blaming my kids, I'm just saying."

The two divorced in 2009 and the series continued production without Jon and its name was changed to "Kate Plus 8." The new show ended its run in 2011.
