Kaley Cuoco to host People's Choice Awards 2013, will be second stint

If you enjoyed The People's Choice Awards earlier this year, you will probably love watching the next ceremony as well, as Kaley Cuoco of the CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" is set to host the annual event for the second time in a row. The news was announced on Tuesday. The People's Choice Awards take place on Jan. 9, 2013 and air live at 9 p.m. ET on CBS from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. "It's an honor to return as host of the 2013 People's Choice Awards and kick off awards season with one of the most fun events of the year," Cuoco, 26, said in a statement obtained by OTRC.com. Cuoco, who plays Penny on "The Big Bang Theory," hosted the ceremony for the first time last year and has also hosted the 2011 and 2012 Teen Choice Awards. "I am so thrilled that Kaley will be joining us again as host for this year's People's Choice Awards," Executive Producer Mark Burnett said in the statement. "She is such an engaging performer who brings an undeniable energy and passion to our stage. There is no doubt she will be a key part of what makes this year's show a can't miss event." Fans can vote on the nominees in more than 40 categories from October 23 to November 2 at peopleschoice.com. Also, tickets to the ceremony are currently on sale to the general public.
