Justin Timberlake to release 2nd '20/20 Experience' album
It ain't no lie. Justin Timberlake confirmed speculation that his album "The 20/20 Experience," which was released on Tuesday, has a forthcoming second half, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I need to clear up a rumor," Timberlake told the audience during Monday night's release party at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.
The former 'N Sync frontman went on to reveal that his album's ten tracks, including the hit song "Suit & Tie," were only "the first half of the album."
"Those rumors are true," he said, but has yet to confirm a release date.
Timerlake's remarks come in the wake of a telling message board post by Roots musician Questlove, who hinted at a second installment last weekend.
"Spoiler alert," typed the drummer on Okayplayer, a forum for hip hop news. "20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now . . . 10 songs later= 20 vision)."
Timerlake will go on a North American tour this summer with rapper Jay-Z, as announced in February. There is no confirmation if any of the unreleased tracks will be performed at these concerts.
