12/03/2010 by Corinne Heller

Justin Timberlake reportedly injured his leg recently while performing a stunt for his new film "Now" in Los Angeles, but continued shooting and also returned to work the following day.

The 29-year-old singer and actor has not commented himself on the report, carried by Entertainment Tonight, which added that the severity of Timberlake's injury, which occurred on Wednesday, is still unclear.

"Now", which is set to hit theaters in 2011, tells of a futuristic society where people cannot age and can only remain alive as long as they pay for it, which helps control overpopulation.

The movie also stars Amanda Seyfried, Johnny Galecki of the CBS comedy series "The Big Bang Theory", Cillian Murphy and Olivia Wilde. Timberlake reportedly plays a man whose time has expired and who kidnaps Seyfried's character as he goes on the run, according to Deadline.com.

Timberlake rose to fame as a singer in the boy band 'N Sync in the 1990s and later went on to star in films such as "The Love Guru" and more recently, "The Social Network". He also voices the part of Boo-Boo Bear in the animated movie "Yogi Bear", which is based on the hit cartoon series and hits theaters on December 17.
